Dear Family,

I will start my letter by introducing myself, my name is Mara Therese. I am 25 years old, single and without children. I am from Batangas, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country of the Philippines because of its beaches. I took up Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration at Lyceum of the Philippines University. I have a supportive and loving family. My father is a jeepney driver while my mother is a plain housewife. I have three siblings. I am the 2nd from the eldest. I am open-minded, happy and friendly person. I am eager to learn new things, I can easily adapt and adjust to new environment and I can get along with other people well. I love singing, traveling, going to beaches and playing badminton.

I started working as an all-around helper and babysitter on May 3, 2013 until now. I am helping out a Filipino family with two cute kids(Carley-5 years old and Rikkayla-8 months old). My duties are general cleaning of the house, sweeping the floor, wiping the windows and furniture, defrost the refrigerator and clean it out, cooking meals, washing dishes, doing the laundry, ironing of clothes, folding of clothes and putting it in the clothes racks, taking the trash out and watering the plants. Taking care of kids, feeding them, take them a bath, put new clothes on, change diapers, make milk bottle, carry the baby and sing her a lullaby, teach Carley on how to write her name and about letters and numbers and play with them.

I want to be an aupair because I want to learn something new and gain new experiences that can help me grow as an individual. I want to explore a different place and meet new set of friends. I want to help my family. I want to save money so I can buy my own house someday. And the most important thing is I want to offer my help to parents who need someone that can help them in keeping their house tidy and taking care of their kid/s.

Filipinos are well-known for being hardworking to their jobs and for being a nice person. I will let you experience my service in a Filipino way. I hope you will give me a chance to be part of your family as your aupair.
