Phillip, 19, from Austria looking for a family willing to guest an au pair.

My name is Phillip, 19 years old, and actively looking for a guest family to develop my french or italian as I always seem to understand much when hearing or reading these languages even though I didn't learn them. In my life I had to adapt many times to very different circumstances so it shouldn't be a problem to integrate in another family's lifestyle. I like the saying that what is worth doing at all, is worth doing well and try to live accordingly, not leaving anything half or poorly done. You should expect me to learn and adapt quickly. I approach this Aupair project like something that will increase my versatility and although I can bring some assets the purpose of me wanting to become an aupair is to get more experience and not to reach a stalemate in my life.

I lived in Spain until 2008 when the crisis hit my family hard and we moved to Germany some time after where I started my Abitur which is the german equivalent for baccalauréat in france or maturita in italy. Just a few weeks after we had to move to Austria where I couldn't find any place to continue my school, so I began to take online lessons which didn't end well as I had to stop because I had no money. For more than a year I looked for an apprenticeship or job until I found one. Now I want to move on and the prospect of becoming an au-pair is what made me write this here. My future plans include to resume my education but I want to learn French and/or Italian first. I don't have any special interest or hobbies, I recently started doing some sports because I realized I needed it otherwise I just spend my time with my dog and online where I look at some videos and only rarely play some games as I'm losing my interest in them.

I was never made responsible for taking care of children for longer than a few hours but I had an internship at an retirement home where I took care of mentally unstable old people.
