Au pair from Italy called Elisa, 18, starting from September 2018 for about 4 months.
Hi!
I'm Elisa, I'm 18 years old and I live near Pisa, in Italy.
My family is composed by 4 people: my mother Federica, my father Carlo and my older sister Chiara. From 4 months we also have a little cat, called Mia.
In June I graduated in high school of human sciences, which is specialized in subjects like pedagogy, psichology, anthropology and sociology; I got the mark of 98/100.
Thanks of this school last year, in 2017, I had a stage in a primiry school, where I was in direct contact with children between 6 and 10 years old.
In 2017 I obtained the First Certificate in English, level B2.
I love traveling, seeing other places and knowing other people and cultures, so I hope I could do it more in the future. This is one of the reasons why I'd like to become an au pair girl, as well as to have a great experience far from my country and my family, improving my English and staying with children.
After my au pair experience I'd like to study to become a speech therapist or a teacher.
In my life I did a lot of sports as swimming, dancing, artistic gymnastic and volleyball and I also played the piano. From one year I don't do any sport even if I partecipated at a school project preparing some dance's performances and I really enjoyed in it, so sometimes I miss going to serious dance's lessons.
Usually once or twice a week, but depending on the period also more times, I go to scout's meetings, that are more than an hobby for me. There, I met some of my best friends and we do a lot of different activities together: we discuss about current topics, we reflect about ourselves, we do volunteering in different situations and sometimes we do walking excursions and we entertain scouts younger than us with games and songs.
Usually I don't watch TV during the day, except sometimes for films.
In my free time, particularly in the weekend, I usually stay with my friends.
In July 2016 I take a study trip in London, also spending one of the fifteen days in Cambridge and one in Brighton. It was my first time in Britain, I was fascinated and I promised me to come back soon. Here the reason why I have chosen this country for this new experience.
Particularly, I didn't visit any park in London and I want to, because my mum talked me about them as wonderful places with squirrels and other animals everywhere.
