My name is Nancy Oodira. I am a 27 year old female from Botswana. currently residing in Botswana. I completed my studies in 2015 at the university of Botswana, where I was studying Psychology and Sociology. In a year or 2 I plan to to pursue a masters degree in industrial psychology. Currently I am on internship programme in one of the biggest referral hospitals in Botswana, in the clinical Psychology department which ends this year on October. I would like to take some time out of academics to have a different life experience, and to have time to calmly reflect on my future academic/professional orientation.
I come from a family of 5 children, me being the last born.My first language is setswana, but I am also fluent in English. I started learning English in kinder garten , and it was also the language of instruction from primary until university level.
When it comes to child care experience, I have looked after children in both formal and informal contexts. As part of my learning curriculum in Psychology, we studied child psychology and i believe With the knowledge I have acquired, I am equipped with learning how children behave in different social aspects and I trust I can be in a good position where I can easily manage/ handle the matter at hand.
