My name is Bruna, 23 years old, from Brazil. I graduated in English Language Translation and
even though I know English, I'm looking forward to practice and learn French better in my new hometown. I started French classes this year (2018), so I'm still in the beginning, but I love to learn new things and I want to continue studying hard and improving it even more!
I'm looking to start as an Au Pair from January on and I would love to find a a fair and kind family that respect others and has the
I consider myself a happy, proactive, responsible, open-minded and sensitive person. I like to play, talk and I believe we have to respect nature, animals and others. We will never have the same tastes and the same thoughts, but we must find a balance to have good relationships. That's what I expect: to have an honest and friendly relationship, where there is room for conversation and understanding. Since we live in the same house, it would be nice to have more than just an employer / employee relationship, would not it? A partnership would be good, where we can always discuss and find solutions that are good for both parties.
I have often worked with children, but I am currently teaching English in a school where they take regular Portuguese lessons in the morning and in the afternoon I give them English lessons. They have 17 children from 2 to 4 years old and I have 2 helpers. At 11:30, we have lunch, then brush their teeth, go to the bathroom and take a nap (we caress them one by one until they fall asleep!). Afterwards, I tell a story, they go to the playground, eat snacks, do activities and at 17 they go home. So, you can imagine that I have experience in cooking, changing diapers, games, art, etc. It can be difficult, but I love them more than anything. We have built a bond of trust, where we have fun, but they respect me and I respect them. So, in the end, they know there is time for everything. You see, that's what I want for me and my new host family! That we can bond, have fun and respect each other!
During my free time, I spend time with my friends, I go to the movies, pubs and restaurants. I visit other cities, I watch TV shows, I play with my pets, I read and I go to my circus air class. Here, where I live, it is not so big, but I have a car (that I drive every day to work, to my activities and to go out) and that allows me to go to the neighboring cities the weekend. not worth it. I like having my space, my independence and my private life, but I enjoy quality time with my family, my friends and, hopefully, with my future host family.
As for my culinary skills, I would say it's something I really like to do, but I'm not the best yet and I love trying new recipes. My daily routine is to have breakfast and dinner at home, and I always try to eat healthy and organic foods as much as possible. I am almost vegetarian because I only eat fish and seafood. However, I can cook what you want for your children.
I think you expect me to do what I'm used to: when I work, I should leave and pick up the kids from school and other activities, cook for them (and clean up afterwards), can -being to take a nap, help with homework, give baths, take them to the playgrounds, play with them, make sure they are happy and well fed and that their belongings are organized (toys and clothes.
I have always loved being around, playing and taking care of kids, trying new things, going into adventures, traveling and getting to know knew places and people, with no fear. So being an Au Pair just seemed perfect for me. I had two amazing chances of living by myself, working and studying abroad, and now I believe it is the right moment to do what I most love in my life: taking care of kids, learning a new language and getting into a new culture.
I would be highly excited to talk you if you believe we could be a good match!
