My name is Joey, and I am originally from Fairbanks, Alaska. I live in Texas now, and am studying theatre and film.

I love meeting new people and hope to expand my knowledge of the world through travel. I have worked with children of all ages, from newborn to teenage. I have had plenty of pets through my life, and I'm comfortable around animals of all shapes and sizes!

I have helped raise my little sister (9 years old) with my mother, who is single, since she was born. I have been responsible for changing diapers, preparing meals and planning activities for her. When our mother takes trips, or has to work for extended periods, my sister stays with me. We love riding bikes, building with Legos, playing video games, and going on walks together.

I taught high school marching band for a year and developed a lot of skills in routine building and teaching responsibility and respect.
