I am Hop, an Au pair from Vietnam, 25, looking for host family for my second year. I currently live in Florida. I can start from November 28, 2018, after finishing contract with my current host family.
Dear Family,
I am Hop, a 25- year-old Vietnamese Au pair currently living in Parrish, Florida. I have gone through three quarters of my first journey. As I look back in time, I have to say "it is an unforgetable experience". I got difficulties, I cried, I laughed, I experienced different situations, I met new people, I listened to different stories, I worked harder. Most importantly, all those things have helped me more mature and independent. I decided to extend another year because I want to learn more, not only from you, my new host family but also in everything I am going to experience. I do not expect or think it to be easy but I do hope it will challenge me. I can be a part of your family, a daughter and a sister.
I will tell you something about the twins I am taking care of. They will be 2 years old in October 3. I've been with them for over eleven months. The baby girl names Petra. She is really smart. She loves reading books, playing with colors and shapes. Petra also loves outdoors activities. The baby boy is Peter, who loves to discover the things. He prefers to observe things. He would give you a good appitite if you saw him eating. They have totally different personalities.I'm responsible for cooking, changing diapers, bathing, feeding, playing with them, reading books, dressing, brush their teeth, supervising and teaching them manners. I am also in charge of checking up and organizing their supplies. Sometimes it is overwheming and stressful, but it is often so much fun to see them play, eat, and grow up every single day.
In my second year, I love to introduce more about Vietnamese cultures to your family. My current family is very busy, so I do hope I will have more time spent with my new host family, to learn more about the culture. In addition, I can learn your ways of educating kids, help you manage them and creat an interesting experience for both.
To my future host kids, if you love eating, I won't let you down. I can cook both American and Asian food. I can draw and make crafts. I love outdoor activities and will accompany you on every game. Also, I am a good listener and willing to share with you when you get problems.
That is something about me. I would be happy to have the opportunity to speak with you. My host dad is happy to talk with you if you have any question related to me and my childcare experience.
Thank you very much for taking time reading my application!
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Hop
P/S: I got driver's licence in Vietnam, but it is not valid here. I am trying to get the valid licence.
