Nanny/au pair, British, 36, looking to work with a fun family starting early November 2018.

Hi,
I currently live in London, I've been here for 4 years now. I am originally from Yorkshire, only 200 miles away and so I get to visit my family frequently.
I have 3 nieces and 1 nephew, all varying ages. Its been a wonderful experience, being an Aunt, and being able to help them learn and grow from experiences has been one of the most positive experiences that I have encountered. I believe this feeling is due to the inspiration given to me by my Parents, Uncles and Grandparents. My family are originally from the Shetland Isles, and each summer holiday would be spent there enjoying and learning about the countryside.

I have worked as a Human Resources Officer for a University in London for 4 years, I have worked in Human Resources for 9 years. As this type of work means I work at a desk most of the day, I like to ensure my spare time is used for more active past times.
I roller skate, and play roller derby with my team in London. I enjoy long-boarding in my local park. I enjoy going to museums, gallaries and to see live music. I also enjoy snowboarding, although I don't get to do this quite as much as I would like.

I have in the past volunteered for Mencap, for children between 11 - 16 year old. At that time I would escort the children to the social evening in the minibus and then be one of 5 to supervise, play, talk and help anyway I could to ensure they got the most out of their evening.

Also in my spare time I play a little guitar and ukulele and I also enjoy a range of crafts. Drawing, painting, sewing, crochet. This has been something that my younger relatives have really enjoyed doing together. A chance for them to get really creative.
