Dear host family,
My name is Valeriia and I am 22 years old. I was born in Crimea, but for 5 years already I have been living in Lviv, the cultural capital city of Ukraine.
I would also say, that I am easy to deal with. I am very kind and warmhearted, that is probably why I can easily find approach to children. However, I am not only soft and affectionate, but also demanding and strict, when needed. I personally think, I am equitable and patient as well. I love spending time with small kids and to help them exploring the world. Your children will always be surrounded by care and attention. I love trying something new, so being an Au Pair is a great chance for me to communicate in the language environment and to open up new social and cultural opportunities.
My family consists of 4 members plus me, all of them are living in Crimea. I have a little sister, her name is Alika. She is 7 years old and she is in the first grade of school now. I love my whole family very much and I might miss them sometimes, but I have got used to live abroad of them without seeing us personally for a long time.
I have moved to Lviv because of the university. I was specializing in German philology.
I like sports and energetic time spending. I also like painting, drawing and I am good at swimming. I would say, that I am just an energetic person, who loves travelling, having fun and sharing my energy and skills with others.
As for me as a person, I am very ambitious, responsible and creative. I have been working for 3 years in the IT company, that provides technical remote assistance. I welcome new challenges and this working experience gave me a lot of skills to learn, such as time-management, emotional intelligence or communication skills.
Firstly, I had helped my mum with my sister, then I started to help our neighbors with their children.
By the way, I love pets and carrying for them. I have a cat and I used to have dogs. Spending time with animals is also a way to relax, I guess. I love cooking as well. Not that I cook perfectly, but I do my best.
I am considering to become an Au Pair, as I want to learn and practice English, to learn new culture and to share my own. I also want to practice English in language environment, as English is the kind of international language.
