Seeing the world Au pair style

Dear Families,

I go by Shay and I am a 31 year old American student. I am fluent in English and would like to learn the Norwegian language. I am looking to become part of a family and be able to share in the activities as well as having down time on my own. I will help with the house chores and engage with the children and family. I would like a family with good communication skills and reliability. I have a degree in Social Work and I have worked with children for over 15 years. Various ages as well as special needs, specifically autism. During the last two years I have been au pairing as well as teaching children with special needs. I enjoy and feel comfortable working with children of all ages and would love to continue to experience a new culture while doing something I love. This presents a wonderful experience in learning about different cultures from each side and allows me the ability to discover more about myself and the wonderful country. I would be happy to have the opportunity to speak with you to answer whatever questions you may have about me or my childcare experiences.
