Hi there! I am a 22 year old current student from The Netherlands and would love to tell you a bit more about me.
At the moment I am finishing my Master's degree in Pedagogy. Besides that I work at a homework guidance organisation as a location manager but I also do the guidance work with the children because I love interacting with them. Sometimes I babysit in my free time, unfortunately I don't do it as often as I used to. From when I was 13, I have babysitted at different family's. The ages varied from 0 till 16 and I loved all of them! I used to give field hockey training as well but unfortunately I had to give that up because of my busy schedule.
During the summer I like to give good use to my free time. In the summers 2015 and 2016 I have been a counselor for 2 months at a summer camp in Pennsylvania, USA. In the summer of 2017 I have been a counselor for just a week, this was for children who experienced problems like behavior issues, insecurity and the inability to make friends. I loved every moment of the camps I went to!
As a hobby I play field hockey twice a week.Other hobby's of mine are reading, squashing, being with family and friends, watching movies and I also love to travel whenever I can.
Since I was a young girl, I loved playing with kids and that never changed. Not only do I love being arround them, but I also find them very interesting. That is the reason why I am finishing a study about the development of children. Now that I am almost done with University, I would love to see some more of the world. I figured, what would be a better way to do that than to be an au pair in another country? I would love to be a part of your family, play with the kids, care for them, help them evolve into caring and polite individuals, tidy up after them and everything else I can assist with!
