Au pair from Japan, called Ayaka,22,looking for a job with a nice family, starting from July!

Dear Host Family,

My name is Ayaka . I am 22 years old and currently live in Hawaii, and my home town is Osaka Japan with my mother and sister. My mother is an office worker and my younger sister is college student. We are very close, and often go shopping and travel together. I have a lot of respect for my mother since she is a single working mother. I have been interested in American culture for a long time. It is my dream to take care of children in the US. I have a cheerful personality that is complemented by my hobbies and interests. My strengths are that I always have lots of energy and motivation, and I am really good at communicating with people from young to old. My weaknesses are that I am a really careful person and I often take my time when doing things. I really care about people's opinions but sometimes I take criticism too close to heart.

I really like listening to and singing music, watching a movie, taking pictures, traveling, eating, sometimes playing the piano.

I used to work at an international school in Osaka. I'm nursery teacher at my school, and I work six days a week. During my working time, I am in an all-English environment where I take care of and supervise children of all ages. I also coordinate school events, field trips, and create various crafts and activities for students to enjoy. Every day I help young children with developing life skills such as potty training, hand skills, brushing teeth and so on. I really enjoy playing with children and seeing their smiling faces.

And I am currently working at Hawaii as aupair, I taking care of 1 kid, she is 3 years old.
my work detail: I working from Monday to Friday, and pick up and dropp off to school, prepare lunch and dinnerm, toilet training, feed her, get a shower,
put the her to sleep, playing( reading books, draw a picture, ball, playing the piano, playdow,go to park, singing,dancing,etc...)

I have a great respect for working parents so I would like to support them. I have had two dreams for a long time; studying abroad and getting a job involving children. I want to become an au pair because I can realize both of my dreams at the same time. I love children and would like to improve my English while caring for children in the States. I have taught many different types of children and I have learned so much throughout my schooling and teaching experience. While studying for early childhood education certification, I worked with children from all walks of life. I worked at Japanese a welfare facility for the disabled and nursery schools as well as a center for underprivileged children. While I was working with underprivileged children, I realized just how important a loving home is.

I have a lot of experience teaching young children life skills, whether it be how to use the restroom, how to hold a pencil, or how to properly communicate their wants, opinions or emotions. During my time at my international school I learned how important being calm and patient is when dealing with young children.

I would like to build up a trusting relationship with children and parents. I will do everything with a great sense of care and responsibility. In addition I will take advantage of my knowledge of child care that I have learned since I was a high school student. I can do various games and activities like drawing pictures, reading picture books, and so on. I would like to allow children to learn many things while having fun. I will take care of children and learn their favorite things and try to incorporate it in our daily lives. Since I am Japanese, I would love to share my native language with children and to give them an interest in a different culture.

I really hope that you will give me the opportunity to realize my dream. I am looking orward to making new happy and fun memories with children. Thank you very much for your interest in my application! I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
