Hello I'm Katie!
I'm Irish and French, born and raised in America, I grew up in San Diego County in California, I'm well traveled and very comfortable flying and traveling pretty much anywhere in the world. I've been living in Hawaii for the past 12 years, enjoying the beaches, swimming, snorkeling and walks in the forest. I've worked with grade school children in an after school program teaching a writing class and have been a nanny to a 9 year old boy with downs syndrome. He was a delight to be around with a sweet heart and endless affection. I have two grown children, a boy and a girl, both amazing people, I enjoy being around children of all ages, love taking care of babies and toddlers and getting to sing and dance and be playful, also love all animals and I'm willing to help out with their care as well.
I write children's books, I have some self published books on Amazon and several others I'm getting ready to publish. I'm a good cook and enjoy making healthy delicious meals.I'm easy going, highly responsible and I'm attentive to detail. I do not drink or smoke, I'm 56 years young and live a healthy, happy lifestyle, I have a mothers intuition and know how to care for infants and children, making sure their needs are met both physically and emotionally. I was married for 21 years, my husband who was my best friend passed away from cancer last year. We had a construction company that I helped manage. I'm very much a family life person and would love to help out a kind, loving family that would love to have a kind, loving person in their lives.
