Qualified English teacher from Leeds, United Kingdom looking for a job as a Au pair/nanny for a lovely family. Available from 1st of July.

I am a 24 year old student who will have gained my English teaching qualification in June. I have had two years experience working in schools, teaching pupils English Language and Literature. As well as teaching English I have also been involved in working for the special needs department of the school teaching pupils with low literacy skills and low reading ages and helping students who cannot speak English.
Before studying to be a teacher I worked as a welfare lead for Unite Students, a leading student accommodation provider. To qualify for this role I had to undergo a two day course to gain a MHFA (Mental Health First Aid) Certificate. This course provided me with valuable information about how to support people who may be struggling with their mental health. The purpose of this role was to be the first point of call for any students who were struggling with mental health problems and to signpost them to what services are available. Alongside working as a welfare lead I tutored a varied range of students English. I worked with students from seven years old to twenty years olds. I helped these students study for their exams I also helped foreign students speak and understand English.
Whilst completing my English Language and Linguistics at university I volunteered at The Autism Centre, an organisation that was set up to support young adults with autism in the their workplace. After finishing university this role became my permanent job for six months.
Although, I worked as a babysitter throughout sixth form and looked after children who were seven and ten years old. I have worked teaching children for over a year and have worked in job roles which require responsibility and care. I am looking to relocate to Berlin in July and I would love to be considered for work with your family!
