I am from Peru which is a beautiful country located in South America. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Translation and Interpretation of Languages. As I said before, I come from a lovely place, where the food is good and the people are nice. I come from a family of 4, but I also have to include my pets.
Traveling is one of my passions, and children as well. I always have this statement about that animals and children are the most innocent beings in this world, for that reason, we need to protect them.
And from the last year, I was a full time Au Pair in Maryland, USA with a lovely family , the Kesslers. Seth, or Mister shunshine as I used to called him is a very smart and sweet man who worked for a big company. He used to work from home and Dara, my ex host mom, is a dentist and she had a part-time job. I was responsible of taking care of two boys- Miles (11) and Evan (9) during the week and sometimes weekends. My daily work started at 7:00 a.m. and I helped them with their morning routine like breakfast, and getting ready for school. I helped them with their chores, like cleaning their rooms , doing their laundry, cooking and baking and also with their Spanish lessons and guitar. Miles is a very sweet boy and very outgoing while Evan is a little bit shy but very smart. They both loved baseball and they played it as well, I had to learn a lot about baseball and we were fans of Red Sox team. I really had a good time living with the Kesller's family , they were very organised and taught me a lot about life and family. I also had the opportunity to visit and help in a day care called Reggio that was located in front of the house. It was a nice experience, I made other teacher friends from Chile and Colombia and I was able to work with children from 1 to 5 years old. I was there during mornings while my host children were at school.
Before this great experience, I also was an Au pair in the Netherlands and Belgium.
