Au pair couple from Germany, Jana (23, kindergardener) and me, Robin (25, mechanic), looking for a family that might need more than two helping hands.
We've reached a point in our lives, where we really want to leave the area we grew up in and start exploring the world.
As kindergardener, Jana has always dreamed of being an au pair one day, and I see why: she's incredible when it comes to childcaring, especially with younger kids.
Compared to her, I'm more of a newbie when it comes to childcaring. I've babysitted my cousins when they were younger, and thats about it, but I'm very quick at learning new things, and I have a whole lot of other useful strengths. I play any sports/card/boardgames with ease, I am very versatile and open for any task that you want me to do. After school (I went to a Gymnasium and made my Abitur) I learned how to be a industrial mechanic, which is a 3,5-year process here, and worked as such for one year now. I don't necessarily have to do a lot of childcaring, if you need my help somewhere else.
Our starting date is still heavily varying, because we both have to keep our jobs until we find a family that is looking forward to having us.
