Looking for au pair job in US, with a nice family, starting as soon as possible
My name is Rejane, I am 24 years old and this year I finished my studies to be a Biology teacher. I love teaching and conveying concepts is very gratifying for my students and myself. Having an impact through teaching that can shape students in the future is exciting and rewarding. During the period of my graduation I taught adolescents at an elementary school for three months. It was a very important experience for my training as a future teacher. I had about 40 students, I taught them the subject of science. Sometimes I had to try hard to keep their attention, because dealing with teenagers as well as small children are not always easy, but I like a challenge. It is all worth it when you see their interest spark and they become curious in the lesson. I currently live alone in an apartment, but my parents, who have been separated since I was 10, they are always close to me. I admire my parents very much, they are examples for me. They taught me to be honest and gave the best of myself and to be responsible and treat people well. I love animals and I have two cats. I am a high-spirited person, I like to be spontaneous, and cheerful.
In my free time I love spending time with my friends and family, doing something fun, like watching a movie, going out to eat something, going to church, play a game, etc. I am a religious person and I always go to church every weekend, especially on Sundays.
Despite following a specific religion, I am a person who has a very open mind and I have always related to people who have different opinions than mine, and it has never been a problem.
My older sister and I are very close friends, she's been married for about three years, and recently had a beautiful daughter, her name is Eduarda, she is very cute and we love her very much. Since she was born I help my sister take care of her, and it has been a very special experience for me.
This year, I had one of the best complete experiences I have had dealing with children. During the months of January through March I volunteered in a nursery where I had the opportunity to work with children of various ages, from infants to older children.
I could see how each one of them has such a distinctive personality, but I love the simple way they see things, their innocence even when they do tantrums and I love their sincerity. The time I spent with them was a lot of fun, we played a lot and I had the opportunity also to work with children who had special needs and I was very positively surprised.
So I believe that working as an au pair is a great opportunity to exchange culture, as well as having a distinct experience from any that I have ever had in my life, to enhance my knowledge in a foreign language, while I spend my time doing something that I really like it, who is being around kids, educating them while I care and play with them. So I hope to become a great help to you but if something does not work as it should I'd rather speak instead of ignoring things
I am a person who can adapt quickly to new routines; I grow up in a full house with (my aunt, my two sisters, my parents, and my grandmother). I lived there until I start attend college in a neighboring city. So I moved to a shared apartment with college colleagues for two years while completing my graduation. Since I finished college I went back to my hometown and start living on my own. So each of these experiences I have described was very positive and helped me to formulate me into the person I am today, organized, responsible, independent, calm, open mind, and easy to deal with and I am very grateful to my family and friends for always supporting me.
Thank you very much for your interest in my application!
I look forward to hearing from you.
