It was always a great dream of mine to live and work in a foreign country and I am really exciting that it will become reality soon.I would like to tell something about me now you something about my family: My family is a typical Colombian family. There are my parents, my big sister (she is 26 years old) and me. my mother Martha, she is like any other mom. Loving, caring,calm,sociable and concerned. She loves to do craft and cook .my mom Martha is a Pharmacist. My dad Cristobal has a great human quality,kind,generous he is the anchor of our house, currently
works like a sale executive. I have a good relationship to my sister and my parents. Sometimes there is a little quarrel but I think this is normal and we try to resolve our problems together.
Now it is time to talk about my person:When I finished high school, I decided to study business managment in Armenia (Q). For me, it was one of the most important decisions in my life. Living away from home has taught me to appreciate many things, to be more responsible than I was before and to mature as person. I think it was a very good opportunity to learn more about myself and it was for me, therefore, I recommend it.
I have always been very active and hard working, so I tried to help at home combining my studies with different jobs while I lived away from home, returning to Ibague in summer to look after children. I love working with children because they know how to get the best out of myself and I try to teach them to do their best. It is a very rewarding job.
I have read a lot about America i want to know more of your country and culture. My family and my friends say that I'm a very responsible, communicative , and loving person, furthermore, I love kids, so this year I decided to fulfill my dream of being an au pair in America. They support my decision and they are very happy for me. I'm delighted to have the opportunity to improve my English, meet your lifestyle, your habits and your country, which I greatly admire. And what better way than doing what I love! I love spending time with children and learning everything they can teach me every day. They learn a lot of us, but we learn more from them than we think. To me, it's wonderful see them growing up with us.
Last year, I spent a six month internship period working in a kindergarten in Neiva. i helped them in observation practices, social help and collaborating with follow-up to homework, for children between 15 months to 5 years, the group consists of nearly 15 boys and girls; I worked 48 hours per week. I also took part in recreational indoor activities: we sang, danced, played, drew, painted, and narrated stories.
In 2014 i knew the little Yamid i know him when he just was six months, i help to her parents just for one month for holiday .In 2015 I took care of again, who was 17 month, The experience was great. I used to wake up the boy, have breakfast together, help them to get dressed and play lego because they liked it and he liked to grab anything at his reach, so I had to take care of him because at that age children like to explore everything. I had to prepare his bottles, fed him, help him to develop the skills that a baby of his age begins to learn, like turns from side to explore around, entertaining him with toys or helping him to sleep at the same time, her mother was pregnant, Juana born one month later I took only one month care her because they had to move to another city. i worked 3 month. When they come to visit the city i take care the kids, they are 3 years old and Juana 2 years old
When I was in college, I lived in a family home. Mrs Quintero had Isabella was 7 years old. I took care of her every time the university allowed me. i help her with homeworks specifically with mathematics ( i really like math), we painted, we painted, we went to the park, we took out Jack (dog), watching a movie and we love play basketball. When her mom could not pick her up at school, she left me the car keys and I went to pick her up. It was an incredible year. they were my second family.
I am cheerful and sensitive for the children's needs. I started caring for children some years ago. At the beginning I looked after my little cousins and as time went by the adults trusted in me and so I got more and more responsibility.
