My name is Brenda, 23, from Zimbabwe. I am a cheerful, friendly person and always ready to help. I have recently graduated with a diploma in Fashion Design which I studied in Cape Town for 3 years. I come from a grounded, welcoming family of 6; myself, my parents and 3 older brothers. My work and experience with children have mostly been informal babysitting or Au pairing and looking after family and friends kids.
I have boarded throughout my schooling years which has helped me to become used being away from home; as well as always having good manners and being respectful of others. Being a boarder has also taught me to clean up after myself and have a basis of living independently. I am happy to help around the house with cleaning or cooking. I have had my drivers license for 3 years now, so if you wish for me to drive around that won't be a problem!
My interests and hobbies include staying active! I particularly enjoy swimming or being outdoors! I also love painting and drawing which I used to do with the children I looked after.
At this point in my life, I am wanting a change from the academic life, and I am looking for a different life experience. Every time I left from babysitting or Au-pairing I found myself always being in a better and uplifted mood! This is why I leaned towards Au-pairing.
