Hello, dear host family!
My name's Gislaine. I'm 30 years old. I'm Brizilian and I live in São Paulo state.I'm reponsible, patient and funny. I'm graduted in textile industry, but today I work as an Administrative assistant and a volutter teacher. I love children and have great experience with them.
I Since I was a child, it was easily make friends for me. My mom said I would be a journalist, because, I used to make an interview with new people. But when I became older, I learn to listen and observe more. I still make new friends quickly, but I speak less. I consider a good listener and patient person.
I have one sister older than me. Her name's Cibele ,32 years old and she is Systems Analyst. She's very organized and smart. We are good friends. She and I live with my parents. Marcos my dad, he's 52 years old and he has his own business, a Auto Body Repair and Painting cars, He is auto repairer. My mom Adriana, she's 50 years old and public worker. I have a big family, a lot of aunts, uncles and cousins. My family is very connected. Usually we join in the weekends. In my family there are many children, so my aunts and cousins taught me change diapers, feeding babies and among other things. I love my family and they give me support about my choices and Au Pair program.
I'm joyful and I like make the people around me laugh. I like help the people, I'm calm, honest, creative, organized and responsible. I like do many things as walking in the park, going out with my friend, going to concert, reading book, listening to music, surfing the internet, I love travelling and watching movies and TV programs.
I'm Administrative Assistant in the company of my father. I help my Father with the administration of the company. I was graduated in Textile Technology in FATEC – Public College of state of São Paulo. When I return to Brazil, my priority will be start pedagogy college and get a good job, with a lot of amazing experiences on baggage.
I was a babysitter, I took care Tiago, 3 years old, He was my neighbour. I took care him from Monday to Friday, part time, for 1 year. I was responsible for giving him breakfast and lunch, play with him, help bathing, dressing him and sometimes take to kindergarten.
In July/2016 and January/2017, I was a teacher in a holiday camp (Gymnasio kids). I used to play with kids from 3 until 12 years. From Monday to Friday, part time, for 1 month. We played hide-and-seek, tag, dodgeball, freeze tag, circle game, Simon says, broken telephone, musical chairs, ride bike, make activities with recyclable material and snack time.
I'm a volunteer teacher in my church, since I was 13 years old. I teach the children about the Bible, I sing with them, give snack, play and I teach them as make toys with recyclable materials. Normally I take care of children for 3 hours, once or twice a week, it depends on the schedule. I take care a group of children from 3 until 11 years old, once or twice a year, it depends when the event happens. Me and other volunteers will camp with them .We stay there for three days. We make several kind of plays, as treasure hurt, soccer, volleyball, tag, hide-and-seek, dodgeball, capture-the-flag, swim and we have a good time together.
I'm sure I want to do this Au Pair program to know a new family, teach their children new things and learn with you, begin a new friendship and help you with all will be necessary. I like to take good things for people and with my Host Family will be no different. I believe we will live good time together. I also want to see new places, know new culture, improve my English and learn Dutch. I never stayed for long time in another country I know this will add a lot for my life and having incredible experience.
I would like to thank the family that will pick me. I am dedicating myself in every way for this program and I am improving my English daily. I'll do my best and I will be very happy, trust me!
