Carmen, Spanish au pair, 20, looking for a job with a nice caring family, starting from 1st of July)

My name is Carmen. I'm a 20 year old Spanish student. Although I currently live in Cáceres, where I am studying, I am originally from Badajoz. Both towns are in the region of Extremadura, next to Portugal.

I come from a family of 5, My parents, Maria Luisa and Juan, my brother, Alberto, and my sister, Ángela. My brother, Alberto, is 32 years old and is a nurse, and my sister, Ángela, is 31 and although she graduated from Primary Teaching, works at a medical center and a school canteen. My parents are both civil servants and work in offices.

In a couple of years I plan on starting either a Psychology career or English Philology, but at the moment I'm still studying a Higher Certificate on Social Integration and Public Services, that I will have finished in a year in a half. Last year I graduated from Vocational Education and Training studies on Health and Social Care which I enjoyed a lot and I did a 3 month long work experience at a geriatric hospital.

My first language is, of course, Spanish, but I'd say I'm pretty good at English. I started learning it at about 3 years old and continued studying it in primary and secondary school and high school. I'm currently taking a course included in the Higher Certificate I'm studying and I practise everyday.

As for my preferences, I am looking for a live-in arrangement with a host family, that would be happy to have me stay with them and work for them for a maximum of three months, end of June 2018 to mid-end September 2018, as I would have to go back to college after that. I would like to look after kids from any age up until 10-12. I'm flexible with my working hours and don't have any preferences.
