From Slovenia, looking for a lovely family, starting from June
In about a year I plan to graduate, but I am yet to make up my mind concerning my future area of studying medicine or veterinary. So, at the moment, I would like to have a different life experience, and to improve my English. To this end, I think spending few months abroad would be particularly interesting.
My first language is, of course, Slovenian, and I am also fluent in English. I started learning English in primary school, and it also the second language in the secondary school I attend. I also learn German as the third language.
I am nevertheless aware that learning a language within a classroom context is by itself, incomplete. So, in order to really be at ease in English, I feel that a cultural immersion would do me a lot of good.. For this reason, I would very much like to find a nice family to live with and work aboard.
When it comes to child care experience, I have looked after children in informal contexts, since I was 8 years old. I also took part in their recreational indoor and outdoor activities: we sang, danced, played games, role played, drew, painted, and narrated stories. We also visited the public library, the local animal park, went out on picnics and a camping trip, did homework together, learnt to read and so on.
I have helped my stepsister and stepbrothers look after my cousins since birth. Although my looking after them is now restricted to school work, as a teenager, I was nevertheless much more involved in caring for them on a daily basis. I can comfortably say that I sincerely enjoy spending time with children.
When it comes to leisure, I take pleasure in the simple things in life. I enjoy being outdoors, being with my friends, going for walks, visiting places I have not been to, and reading a good book. I also enjoy painting, walking dogs, caring for animals, cooking and creating something new. I like maths and physics. I live a healty life style as I cook healthy meals, do sports and take care of myself. Every morning I do yoga. I love animals and I have a guinea pig and a cat, I also had a dog, so I know what it takes to take car of animals. I am a energetic and productive girl, with who you will not be bored.
