Dear host family,
My name is Alba, I'm 22 years old and I live in Zaragoza (between Madrid and Barcelona, in Spain) with my parents.
I'm very close to my extended family. I have four cousins, they are fantastic. I am the biggest, so I usually take care them. My grandparents are lovely, I have a great relationship with them.
I consider myself a responsible, educated and funny girl. I love travel with my fiends. In addition, I really like children, for this reason I decided to be teacher. In January, I'm going to finish my degree at the University. The last four years, I have been studying to be a primary school teacher with a specialty in learning difficulties and disorders. I think it is wonderful to see how children grow and learn with your help.
While I was studying, I took care a 4 years old boy in the morning. I prepared his breakfast, I dressed him, we played and we went to the school. In the afternoons, I taught private lessons to a 10 years old girl. Nowadays, some weekends I work in a place where birthday parties are celebrated.
Moreover, I have done internships in different schools, helping the teacher. This is my dream, be a teacher.
When I finish my university degree, I would like to live a new experience for a few months and improve my French skills.
It would be interesting to know a new culture and being an au pair is one of the best ways.
I am very excited about this new adventure.
