I'm Janna, 27, au pair from Philippines, looking for a host family in Norway, starting Spring 2018.

Dear future host family,

I am very much interested to be your family's au pair.

I specifically chose to be a part of a family in Norway because I have heard a lot of positive things about the country. Norway was once declared the happiest country; was and still is one of the safest countries to visit. And that the country is so safe that Norwegians are also called 'worry-less' people. I also heard that Norwegians are very straight-forward, generous, nature-lovers and fun-loving people. Hopefully, I'll get to experience these myself through your family.

As a young lady, I already have a sense of responsibility and learned the importance of loyalty. I may sometimes sound very serious but I love enjoying life as well. I like doing outdoor activities like hiking and going for long walks. In fact I am very active in marathon these past few months. I also enjoy indoor activities like reading books, taking care of pets, cooking (still practicing on the baking part though) and watching films. I like being around children and happy people. I am very interested in discovering new things about other people and culture, and about myself. I have already started learning norsk språk, but it could take a little more time as I only use the internet to learn the language (ordbøker her er dyre). Also, I am a trustworthy, honest, very tidy and organized person. I love doing household chores as I feel a sense of satisfaction once I have finished the chores.
I have experienced taking care of children under the age of one up to three. I also have experienced taking care of pets like dogs, cats, rabbit and arowana (a fish). In general I can do basic household chores and housekeeping.
