Au pair from England called Rosie, 18, looking for a job with a friendly family, starting from January 2019.

I am a friendly person and enjoy meeting new people and seeing new places. I'm finishing my last year of college and would love to be an au pair in my gap year! In September 2019, I hope to study Creative Writing at university before becoming a journalist. In my gap year, I also plan to volunteer at my church and do a bit of travelling to visit relatives in other countries.

I have done lots of babysitting for friends and family, looking after up to 4 children at a time between the ages of 2-14 and I really enjoy it! Even though our Cornish weather isn't great, I enjoy taking the children out to the park so they can play outside. One of my favourite things is reading to the children, because it brings them away from the TV/iPad!

In June 2017, I had the privilege of visiting Swaziland and volunteering at 3 local schools and helping out in the community. This experience humbled me and showed me more about how difficult it is for children in developing countries. I have visited Germany twice and often go on holiday to France with my family but I would like to see more of the world and get the experience of travelling.
