Au pair from South Africa called Lebone,18, looking for a potential host family who is loving, respectful and who has an open heart starting from January 2018. I'm currently in my final year of high school and my final exam is on the 27th of November. I'm ready to be your au pair and start exploring new things and teaching each other new things.
About Me.
I am a very groomed young lady that's in her final year of high school and can adapt to any changes in my life. I was trained to clean, laundry and cook. Cooking is actually a subject that I have at school so you can consider me as a mini chef. I hope your family would allow me to prepare some dishes and showcase my talent in the food section.
I normally stay in the house because I don't go out that much so looking after a toddler would be key. I'm interested in teaching new things as that is the foundation phase and at that stage babies/toddlers are eager to learn new things and experience new tastes/sounds/environments etc. So doing that means I'll do it with a passion and it won't be difficult for me. I know how challenging babies/toddlers are but I have learnt to be patient and willing. Sometimes it's either you tolerate children or you love them and can overcome each obstacle. Being tolerant to children can lead you to your breaking point but if you love them, you'll handle everything situation with love. I wouldn't mind taking care of kids who are older than 3 years but under 3 years is my speciality as I've volunteered at nurseries so I pretty know how to take care of toddlers.
I play the violin and would like to bring my violin along if that wouldn't be a problem. I stopped playing it because final year of high school is hectic but I'd like to continue receiving lessons as from next year whenever I have free time.
Honestly speaking I'm not the perfect au pair, I mean we all have our days but I'd try to be the best of the best and give it my all. I always face challenges head on and I'm never a quitter. If I put my mind to it, I can surely achieve it. I want to be your child's big sister and help them develop into great human beings one day. I hope I can learn from your family and vice versa. I'm very much interested in learning the American culture and hope your family is willing to share that with me.
