Au Pair from Spain called Rebeca, 18, looking for a family, starting 20 June
Hi! My name is Rebeca and I am from Spain: I live in a small town called Ibi, near Benidorm.
I am 17 years old but my birthday is the 14 of January, so next year I will be 18.
I would like to be an au pair because I want to improve my English, know more about the culture but more than anything I would like to be part of the family who hosts me, take care of the children and try to help them with anything they need.
My experience of taking care of children:
Every Saturday I take care of children between eight and eleven years old in the church, where we do some activities. I have also been to a one week camp with them, two years in a row. I also take care of my little brother, Rodrigo who is 8 years old.
I really like reading: my favorite novel genre is the fantastic one, but I read all kinds of books. I also love listening to music, specially Ed Sheeran, Frank Sinatra and Coldplay. I go Spinning.
I am a christian but it wouldn't be a problem to me if the family who will host me don't have the same beliefs as i do.
I don't really like going partying because I prefer to stay at home but I also have a good time with my friends.
I am studying the second of bachillerato, and I would like to study International Studies in order to live and work in the United States. I really like languages:
I have studied English since I was 6 years old and I have been in England two times: The first one I stayed in The Isle of White for one week when I was 12 years old; and the second one I went to Darlington in 2014 where I stayed another week with a host family. I have been on an exchange in France too.
I did my B1 test in 2015, and one year later I did the B2 level. Now I am preparing for my C1.
I also study French and German.
I did my A2 exam in French last year and I am preparing myself to do the next level; the B1.
This last year I have started to study German, but at a fairly low level.
I am willing to help the family as much as they need it, and the amount of money that they can pay it not important to me.
