A motivated and sporty person looking for an AuPair Job :)

My name is Larissa and I am a motivated, soon turning 18 student, who is looking forward to gain experience as an AuPair after school. Since I really enjoy spending my time with kids every age an AuPair seems like the right opportunity to me.
I love sports especially skiing, hiking and European Handball, which I played myself til May 2017. Although I finished playing I still enjoy watching it on TV or going to machtes with my Dad.
As I am a very sporty person I still go to the gym a couple times a week and love walking my grandma´s dog.
This year I even got my skiing trainer license and I really relish teaching others the sport I love.
Annother hobby of mine is reading, I just enjoy escaping the real world for a few entertaining hours.
My grandma taught me baking, which I enjoy doing about once a week.
I have got a great family with my parents and a little sister, who just turned 14. We look more and more alike and have a very close relationship, which I wouldn´t want to miss even if we argue sometimes. My family and our neighbours often have barbecues together and talk about everything. In summer we normally travel 2 1/2 weeks to a southern country like Croatia, Spain or Portugal, which motivated me to learn Croatian (hrvatski), but I am still far away from speaking fluently. I love spending time with my family, especially when we do outdoor activities such as hiking.
I am visiting a catholic girls school where I will be getting my A-levels in March 2018 and would like to work as an Au-Pair before going to University. In addition I tutor three children in Englisch and Maths to earn some extra money, but it is more than a job to me it is something I really enjoy. As a part of our education we had to do a four week long internship in a social area. I decided to work in an orphans home for kids, who were mistreated/abused and learned a lot about the right commerce with these kids.
Furthermore I volunteer at a church club which concentrates on dealing with kids. We want to take them outside, off their Phones and iPads and have fun with them. Once a year we offer a ten-day-trip where we hike, visit a city, play and have fun with the kids. Although the ten days are really exhausting for the group leaders it is worth it!
When I was in Australia in 2015 I spend 5 months in a host family, where I learned to integrate myself into a new family and surroundings. I had a wonderful time in Australia and miss my family and friends from overseas. Of course it was not always easy, but I think in the end this is what makes you stronger. During my months as an AuPair I would really much like to integrate into the family. I learned a lot about myself and a foreign culture in those five months and hope to have such an amazing experience again.
I would like to become an AuPair because I love being with kids every age, they are just so sweet and funny sometimes, one cannot do anything different than smile. Of course taking care of kids is a very challenging task but I think that kids make every day and thus the work a little brighter. Even as a child I loved watching my little sister when my parents went out.

As most students do I want to make a break before going to university, but I do not want to sit half a year at home doing nothing. I need something which makes me busy but is still fun. As I am a very reliable person I think being an AuPair is the perfect solution. On top of it one gets to know a different culture, which one cannot experience when travelling there for e.g. 3 weeks. I think living in a new country is a completely different thing than travelling.
All in all I would really like to work as an AuPair in a foreign country and would be very happy if you would contact me.
