Dear beautiful future family,

My name is Ronah, 24 and I am from Philippines. I am finishing University on May 2018 as a Psychology major. Currently, I am working as a part-time English Tutor to Chinese students in an ESL company. I am planning to leave Philippines and be an au pair after I graduate in University because I want to travel abroad first before settling down on a specific career path. I also want to experience cultural immersions and meet other people from other nationalities. I believe that the world is too big to stay in one place. I am patient, conscientious, honest and hard-working. I hope you will consider me to be an au pair for your family.

I have experience in childcare since I was 11 years old. I was used to taking care of my brother who is a person with mental disability. I am the only girl among our siblings, so I am used to be the second mother hen among us. I also experienced taking care of other children in the hospital setting, specifically newborn children. When I was a nursing student, I was assigned in the OB Ward to take care of mothers and their newborns. I also experienced working in preschools as part of my on-the-job training. We used to play with the preschools usually aging from 3-7 years old. And last 2012, my nephew, Jesmark, was born. I took the responsibility to take care of him during my free time. I lived with them until he is 5 years old and they moved to another house. I think I have a vast knowledge in child care because, I studied and practically applied Mother and Child Care Nursing to my daily life. I am very passionate of taking care of young ones and maintaining this holistic approach for them to grow up and develop healthily. I am also knowledgeable in Child Psychology. I can say that throughout my experience with children, this is the best subject that I have used. I am very tolerating with children but never lenient with them. I am a believer that children can be good children if they learn and see it from the adults.
