Au-pair from Ukraine , Anna ,24, is looking for a nice family in Germany ,starting from January 2018
Dear family
First , I would like to tell a little bit about myself. And how I came to the point that I want to go to Germany as an Au-pair. My name is Anna Melnychuk, I'm 24 years old, I'm from Kiev, Ukraine. When I was 17 years old, I went to the USA, Las - Vegas to the tennis academy to improve my tennis and English skills .I lived there for 6 months with a hosting family of doctors from the Philippines. It was a wonderful family and a fantastic time of my life! I returned to Ukraine, continued the work as a tennis trainer, went to the theater studio and got a scholarship at the University in Kiev , and I began to study at the psychological 4 years courses of Transact Analysis , which I have completed so far. During this time, I also had the opportunity to travel a lot, and in 2016 I lived in Bangkok, Thailand. In 2017, I returned home to Ukraine with incredible experiences and impressions.
At the moment, I live and work in Kiev.
My family is not that big. I have a mother Olga (52 years old), dad Sergiy (52 years old) and my older brother Sergiy (27 years old) who is studying and living in the USA. My mother is a drama theater director and my dad works as a director in a firm. I have a warm relationship with my family, and when there is a free time, we often go to the cinema together or just taking a walk, and I see my brother once a year, I had visited him several times in the USA, and we had traveled along the Thailand once.
So when we are together we have a great time!
Speaking of me, I am easy going, communicative and not a conflicting person. My hobbies are sports, dancing and traveling, these are my passion. I also love to go to the cinema and theater, I love to read books, including psychological and business literature and of course, ride a bike and just go out to the nature.
In my life one way or another I work or spend a lot of time with the children and I like it.
For the first time , I started working with the children when I was around 18 when I was an actress in a theater group and we did many plays for children and often they were interactive performances. I adored it! Also, my friends and I have done some social work, we organized various competitions and games for children in our district on holidays. So when I was looking for a job, I thought to myself that I should try to work as an animator on children's holidays. And step-by-step, I've learned how to work with children. So this was one of my first experiences working with them.
Also, at the age of 22 when I was living in Bangkok, I started coaching kids from the age of 5 years old, these children were from Japan, Russia and Malaysia, which made my work very interesting. At the same time, I also began to teach English to Thai children in kindergarten. Then I understood no matter from which country children are, they are all one nation, because they are ALL KIDS!
At the beginning of 2017 I returned to my native Kyiv. I started work at the children's tennis academy Starttennis working with children aged from 4 till 14.
At the moment, I am combining two jobs , working as a trainer at Starttennis and in a private kindergarten The First Children's Academy in Kyiv, as an English-speaking teacher for about half a year, I mainly work with children aged 3 to 5 and from 5 to 7 years old. I take care of them, I put them to sleep, I make interesting lessons with them, I do craft works and I play different games with them and since September, 2017 I have organized tennis lessons for children in our Academy from 3 to 7 years and for schoolchildren too.
Have I been to Germany? Yes! While living in Bangkok I made many friends who were the germans. So, when I returned to Ukraine I often began traveling to Germany in my free time as a tourist and I liked it there. I went to Hanover in the last year quite often, because my friends are living there and we always have a great time, for example, the last time we went to the Northern sea together. I adore visiting Germany. I also decided to study the language first on my own and later I went to the Goethe-Institut . Now I am studying at the A1.2 level and I plan to pass the A1 test at the end of November. I understand that this is the beginner level of German, but I learn quickly!
My friends told me that there is a great way to plunge into the language environment and culture through the Au-pair program. And I thought if I had already traveled to another country, l had lived and studied their language, why don't do it again.
I want to participate in this program for a completely new, fresh experience that always inspires me, to find new friends, to plunge into into the local culture and studying German language as it will expand my horizons in my work, because the Academy in which I work is not only English, but also a German-speaking. And another reason that I am aiming when I return to Ukraine is to create my own business - project (even a few projects that I am working on already) that can be international and German can help me with this.
I will be glad to meet your family. I will be happy to help you with children ,to go out with them , teach swimming, riding a bike, taking to school, skiing or to teach them playing tennis and studying English, just having fun or anything else where you gonna need my help. I can also cook, help at home and garden.
Thank you for your attention,
Best wishes
Au-pair Anna
