Dear Future Host Family,
My name is Luisa, I'm 21 years old and on February I turn 22. I was born at Florianópolis, which is an island in the south of Brazil. I have lived here all my life and I just love everything about it! The island has beautiful landscapes and I'm lucky enough to live in a house that is only 5 minutes from the beach.
I come from a very big family, so since I was a child my parents taught me how to make connections. I have eight uncles and two ants, and along with that comes my 34 cousins from first and second degree. So, every summer vacation (December through February) my family tries to get reunited because we really value those moments and we also have a very real bond.
Since I was a kid, my parents raised me to be a person of good character, and had always given me freedom as a way of reaching an unbreakable trust bond, and that was reaffirmed through all my life, because I always told them everything, hide nothing from them, and they trust me completely. With the education I had, I've been able to be an adventurous, friendly, patient, determined and very happy person.
I'm currently in the eighth period of law school in a public university (one of the best of the country) and loving it more than I could imagine. I'm also doing an internship at the Court of Justice of the State of Santa Catarina. As for my hobbies, despite the fact that I am a very eclectic person, who is always discovering new things I enjoy doing, my free time is usually spent cooking, riding my bike and discovering new spots in the city, as well as reading books, normally related to law school.
I´m pretty sure I can be a great au pair because I just love children and I love taking care of them. I like playing with them, I like watching the way they communicate and the way they see the world, I like to make them very nice meals, I like teaching them new things and answering their crazy questions and I even like watching cartoons with them.
Basically, and it's not an exaggeration, I think being an au pair can offer me everything I'm looking for, and the job is just something I truly enjoy doing.
