Fun, flexible and energetic au pair/nanny seeking a jobb from the end of september until midt February :) !

Dear Family!

My name is Anna, I'm a 20 year old girl from Norway, and I would love the opportunity to be a part of your family as a helper, au pair, nanny or caretaker.

Currently I just moved back from China where I've been an au pair for a couple months. I had a great experience helping a Chinese family to take care of their 8 year old boy and teach him English.

I also have other relevant experiences when it comes to traveling, living with “strangers” and adapting to new cultures. My second year of high school I was an exchange student in the US which made me fluent in English. I stayed with a host family for a year, and I had the best time of my life. My experience in the US made me want to travel and experience more, so when I finished High School I moved to Madrid and became an au pair for one year.

My year being an au pair in Madrid was fun and challenging. I took care of two girls, they were 7 and 10 years old. I got a really close relationship with the kids and I became a big sister for them. I spend most of the time with the girls alone because the parents work situation. I drove them to school, picked them up, prepared their food, gave them baths and sometimes put them to bed. I took some Spanish classes while living in Madrid, so I have a basic knowledge of the language.

Other then being an au pair I have had a lot experience with taking care of children throughout the years. I have had a lot of responsibility for my youngest brother Simon who is 11 years, which I have had a great pleasure of. I have also been working with children from 4-10 years old at different soccer events where I have been one of the coaches. Other than that I enjoy spending time with my younger cousins and relatives, and I have a lot of fun when I'm around them.

I'm an easy person to live with, I'm flexible and willing to adapt myself to a variety of living situations. I am also responsible and enthusiastic.

On my free time I enjoy to hang out with friends, exercise at the gym, party, travel, cook, go for runs and go hiking, I consider myself as a really active person.

I'm also an animal lover, I've had several animals throughout the years and a couple years ago I was doing a lot of horseback riding.

I just got accepted by the the University of the Sunshine Coast. My plan is therfore to start my bachelor degree (bachelor of outdoor adventure and recreation studies) in Australia at the end og February. In the meantime I would love to work and save up money for my future studies while doing something I love, witch is working with kids and to see, experience and learn about a country and culture by living with a local family.

Best regards

Anna
