Maintaining bonds of trust, devotion, and loyalty are immensely important to me. I am a person of morals and faith; I believe in the intrinsic worth of every individual, and am respectful and accepting of those around me. My adolescence was spent in a few locations in Canada, the UK, and the Middle East. This lifestyle exposed me to numerous cultures, which I came to appreciate for both their similarities and their differences. I also have come to recognise the position the English language holds worldwide as a sort of unifying tongue which bridges the divide and language barrier between nations. As my native language, I am fond of English, and I love sharing my knowledge with those interested in learning. Everyone learns in a slightly different way, and I think it is important to recognise that. There is nothing quite like seeing the improvement of a student as their efforts in studying pay off!
Growing up, I had three siblings (two older, one younger), and plenty of cousins. I have had experience in helping with relatives' children, as well as other babysitting experience around the globe. I am known to others as a responsible, reliable, and mature person, and I have been a confidante to many. I am a creative person, and particularly love to write, sketch, sing, and compose my own songs. I have always had a special place in my heart for animals as well. My sense of humour has helped me through a lot in life, and I think it is important to be able to laugh and find the good in any situation. Meeting new people and encountering other cultures has helped me to appreciate both the differences and the similarities in people. I have found that the most universal and binding facet of life is love, and I believe that ensuring that children are given the care and attention they need is of the utmost importance. There is immeasurable value in every person, and I hope to be able to nurture confidence, individuality, and a sense of self-worth in the children I know. The groundwork for every child's success and satisfaction in their adult life is laid in their experiences in the home, and I hope to do my part in enriching lives, where possible.
