Dear host family, thank you for taking a time to read my letter.

I"m Nikki. I'm a Filipina. I am living with my parents, sister, cousin, grand mother and two dogs in a small municipality in Bukidnon

I want to be an Au Pair because this is an opportunity for me to experience another culture. It was always a great dream of mine to work in foreign country.

I love sports a lot. I love biking, swimming and picnics on my spare time. I am an outgoing au pair and I would love to discover new things. Another hobby are movie marathon, card games and reading. So basically, my English is quite fair and I can help you teaching your children English and I can also share my country's language which is Tagalog and Cebuano. I also know how to drive a car and I have my Philippine driver's license.

In 2016 I started working in an office where I got experience in clerical work. I work with on a big project which include selling, inventory management, record filing and more. This work made me flexible, hardworking, independent, honest and helped me organized my time properly.

I started caring for children years ago. I looked after my sister when she was still at age 6, my tasks were to prepare her meals, fed her, bath her, play with her, and send her to day care in the morning since we have the same time going to school, fetch her in the afternoon and at the evening I take her to sleep since we have the same room. I've been doing that for years until she's responsible enough to take care of herself. Now she's 17 and turned to a smart and kind young lady.
The time when i stopped attending classes, I also have experience in taking care of a baby. That was the time when my Aunt stayed in our home for 2 years after her labor. When she's busy, I am in charge in changing his baby's diaper, prepare milk, play and look after him.

I do not have problems in helping the household because as the eldest sibling of two, I am in charge on doing the household chores. Ironing, cleaning, washing clothes and basic cooking until today.
