Hi, my name is James and I'm 19 years old. Although I am young, I am looking for work as an au pair because I am passionate about the French language and I'd love to improve my language skills, whilst at the same time doing something interesting, every day.



Throughout my school career, I made it my mission to get involved with every aspect of the community. So, I have helped 11-14 year olds improve their reading skills, I was a Senior Support Ambassador, helping new pupils settle down into the school, I was in the Student Literacy Group and I participated in the da Vinci Decathlon. Equally, outside of school, I was a Front of House Staff Member at Knockinaam Lodge, a Michelin starred hotel and restaurant.



I have a younger sister, Sheila, and am well used to the arguments that can happen between siblings. However, I believe my experience helping people has given me the skills to resolve such conflicts.



Although I am young and relatively inexperienced, I would be thrilled to be given a chance by you to show my love for helping people and learning languages. I would give 110 percent and would happily help out in any way I could. In the future, I'd love to be an English teacher, so this experience would be invaluable to me.
