My name is Loren. I am an experienced Teacher of English as a Foreign Language of children (ages 1-12), teenagers, special needs students, and adults of varying levels and abilities. I specialize in teaching phonics, phonetics, accent reduction, and the fine points of English grammar. I have been teaching English in Japan for many years. I recently returned to my hometown of Miami Beach after teaching English in Japan for two years this time around. I am looking forward to getting to know other cultures and countries, learning new languages, and making new friends.

I have visited Canada, The Bahamas, and countries in Europe, Asia, and South America. By the way, I am a vegetarian, but I eat fish and seafood (except octopus : )
