Hello! My name is Danny, and I am a student of Chemistry at Lancaster University in the North West of the UK, looking to gain some experience of another culture while earning a little money on the side. I am an easygoing but hardworking person who very much enjoys the company of other people. I come from a family of five and have two younger twin sisters, so I have plenty of experience in dealing with younger children, just from my family situation alone. I am very sporty and would enjoy doing active activities with the children as well as tutoring them! You can expect a fun and caring person who will encourage the imaginations of your children to flourish and give them the skills they need to develop their English abilities!
I am available from June to September 2017, and if you so wish I may be able to return for a few weeks in following Christmas/Easter holidays!
¡Hola! Me llamo Danny, y soy estudiante de química en Lancaster Univeristy en el noroeste de Inglaterra, buscando experimentar otra cultura mientras ganando un poco de dinero en el lado. Soy una persona trabajadora y de trato fácil , que disfruta mucho pasar tiempo con otras personas. Somos cinco en nuestra familia y tengo dos gemelas más jóvenes, así que tengo mucha experiencia en manejar a los niños, solo de mi experiencia familiar. Soy muy deportivo y disfrutaría mucho jugar con los niños por hacer actividades activas además de enseñarlos. ¡Yo seré una persona divertida y bondadosa que estimula las imaginaciones de sus hijos y que les da las destrezas que necesitan para desarrollar sus habilidades de hablar inglés!
Mis destrezas de hablar español son bastante desarrolladas, pero quiero mejorar mucho porque no soy perfecto nada, y todavía hay errores básicos en lo que digo, así que ¡espero mejorar muchísimo!
Bonjour ! Je m'appelle Danny, et je suis étudiant de la chimie à Lancaster University à le nord-ouest de l'Angleterre. Je cherche éprouver la culture d'autre pays et gagner un peu de l'argent en plus. Je suis une personne facile à vivre et travailleur, et j'aime bien passer le temps avec autres personnes. Nous sommes cinq en ma famille, et j'ai deux gémelles plus jeunes, donc j'ai beaucoup de l'expérience de prendre soin des enfants, seulement de m'expérience de ma famille. Je suis très sportif, et j'aimerais bien faire des activités actives avec les enfants en plus d'enseigner. Je serai une personne amusante et attentionnée qui stimule l'imagination de vos enfants et qui aide à développer leur compétence de parler l'anglais !
Ma compétence en parler français est très basique, mais je saurai plus quand vient l'été, car j'étudie un cours du français ici à Lancaster. Mais aussi, j'aimerais passer le temps en France afin d'avoir plus confidence.
I have worked with children quite a lot. I was often a mentor for younger children, working with my old primary school to be partnered with children and mentor them and make sure they were getting on OK. I have also participated in reading hours, where you spend an hour with younger children reading through books with them and teaching them new words to improve their reading skills. This is an activity I particularly enjoy doing, as you can see their development in real time as it unfolds. I often went out to local primary schools to organise sporting events for them such as sports days or multi skills activity days. It is important to encourage their imaginations at these events, and not let them get too obsessed with winning, while still encouraging a sense of competitivity. I have also taken on roles at my high school, helping with the changes associated with transitioning from primary to high school and addressing any problems that arise.
I am fun, reliable, sporty imaginative and caring. I love to cook, and would love to cook some of my dishes for your family whilst I am a part of your family, and also like getting physically active, including doing chores, gardening, maintenance etc.
