For your days off, we are just 15 minutes from San Francisco and 5 minutes from the city downtown where there's lots of things to do. Many au pairs live in our community and our community is friendly, too, and includes several Mandarin speakers and nannies/au pairs at Amara's Chinese school. We only speak English at home, and mom doesn't speak Mandarin at all, so there's plenty of time for practicing English with us.

Caring, responsive au pair needed who wants to teach a Kindergartener Mandarin, kindness with respect and patience.

Amara is starting Kindergarten and will be partially home-schooled (during school closures) learning Mandarin. Her parents don't speak Mandarin, so we'd like her to learn—academically and musically—in Mandarin and have help with school work.

Amara is entering Kindergarten this year and will need help with her schooling and engaging her in outside play and creative activities. Both her parents only speak English and some Spanish.

We're happy to provide any special foods you prefer to keep them stocked if you're able to give us a shopping list.
