Hi. We are the Garthwaites (Mike, Robert and Florette). We need an au pair to look after the children over the summer during school holidays.

I'm Mike and I work as a software developer in central Leeds. I'm a single parent and live with my two children Robert (10) and Florette (8) who both go to school locally.

We live in a 4 bedroom, detached house. As there are only 3 of us we have a spare bedroom and this will be available for our au pair.

We live 2 miles north of the town of Wakefield and 7 miles south of the city of Leeds (30 minutes by bus) in the county of Yorkshire. We are 2 mins away from the main bus route and a 5 minute bus journey from Wakefield railway station which runs direct trains to London.

While I am at work (7.30am to 5.30pm) our au pair will need to supervise the children, prepare food and entertain the children by playing with them (if they ask). This will only apply on days when the children live with me (50% of the time). The rest of the time will be free.
