Dear future au pair,

Thanks for taking the time to read our letter. Let me introduce my little family and the area we live in.

My name is Monika Visy. My parents are Hungarian but I won a scholarship to study in London as a teenager and I ended up spending 20 years in England, so I also have a British nationality.

I have a Masters from Hungary in international relations and I also qualified with the word's biggest audit firm, Pricewaterhouse Coopers as a chartered accountant in London. Since then, I have been working in banking. However, my real passion lies in nutrition and sports. I am a Level 1 crossfit coach and amateur athlete as well as a Precision Nutrition Level 1 coach. Working out and eating healthy is therefore part of our daily lives.

My husband, Tobias Prims is originally from Frankfurt and completed his university studies in Mannheim, Germany before moving to London. He got a job with J.P. Morgan, the word's biggest investment bank in London and spent 12 years there.

Our expectation is that our son will get a kindergarten place and the au pair will need to take care of the following daily:
Take him to and from Kita and any extra classes
Feed and change him
Walk the dog
Help with cooking and cleaning up after dinner
On a weekly basis, we would like the candidate to do some light gardening, our weekly shopping and clean the house. Washing and ironing are done through 2 days and we might ask for some evening baby sitting occasionally. There might be some additional one off tasks, such as going to the post office, etc. Help is required with cleaning the windows once a quarter.


In return, we will contribute to the travel costs and language courses of the au pair. The right candidate might be able to travel with us on holidays and we would of course pay for all lodging, food and insurances necessary to stay in the country.
