Dear Au pair,
We had a great experience with an aupair last year and we would like to repeat it. He has been with us nearly 11 months but is leaving to further his university studies. We would like you to start on the first week of september.
We are a family of 4, a 6 year old girl called Emma , a 2 year old boy called Martin and 2 loving cats (Salchichon and Blanquita).
Our family is very social, open minded and flexible.
Our Kids are very happy, friendly and easy going.
I am the mother I am called Maisie (I am half Scottish and half Spanish)
My Husband is Called Jorge (Spanish)
The children are learning English and they understand it but are not bilingual.
We love to keep busy, we love nice food, we like simple things and we are energetic and very positive.
We love travelling and different cultures.
We would like to find someone that wants to share their experiences with all of us.
We live in a semidetached house in the country side, with a small patio and a communal pool. Only 5 minutes from a big town and only 25 minutes from the city centre of Madrid by public transport.
The kids have breakfast approximately at 7.40. a.m, then they go to school at 9 a.m and they get picked up at 5. Emma has sometimes has extracurricular activities after school.
Once they get picked up they go home, go to the park, go to the pool or visit a friend.
I, Maisie get home approx 5/6 pm. Sometimes 1 hour later if I have to do some activity or need to do an errand but get home before 19 hrs.
Their Father, Jorge, gets home aprox 8.30-9pm
The kids play, do homework and have a bath until 7.30 pm.
The children eat dinner early (for Spain) around 7.30 pm latest 8pm.
At 9.30 pm both children should be in bed. Emma, the older one maybe is still reading a book
We, the parents and YOU should have dinner approx 9.30-10.
