We are a family of 5 - 2 parents, 2 children and 1 amazing very mellow dog.

My daughter is 3 and my son is 5. They have a serious love for life - going out side, playing in the dirt, learning to ride bikes/scooters, taking the dog for walks, painting, reading, learning, exploring and they fall in love with those that take care of them!

We live in Maple Ridge, a gorgeous town that sits north east of Greater Vancouver between the Fraser River and the Golden Ears, which is a group of mountain summits. There are several lakes nearby, hiking trails and a bus and train ride away from down town Vancouver or a bus ride to the ferry to go to Vancouver Island to explore Victoria to Tofino.

We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy individual. Someone that I trust with my children is one of the most important aspects of having a care giver. With our previous nanny's we have made them feel like family, and a couple nannies are still in our children's life when we need occasional help.

We are very laid back and although we have do have schedules due to work and school, we are really flexible - from days off to travel. My kids are young so they are not in a lot of activities

My kids are very healthy - no allergies, no behavioural issues,, sleep well and have great energy. I work really hard to keep them healthy - they have hardly used any medications and they love to take their probiotics + fish oils. I also use homeopathy quite a bit with them in times of need. So I do appreciate someone who understands a more natural approach is how I treat my children ailments
