My name is Daisy, I'm married to Darryl and we have 5 children.
The children are Willow and Woody (8 months), Saffron (3), Rowan (7) and Bryony (10)
We are a home educating family living on a small holding. We have 3 dogs, 5 cats, 3 sheep, 2 goats, 25 chickens, 5 geese, 4 rabbits, 3 guinea pigs and 12 indian runner ducks.
So as you can see, you must be an animal lover.
As we home educate, we don't live by a set time table. You won't be required to do any school work - the children do work books with me for about 2 hours in the mornings and then they are free to do as they please, within reason!
I'm looking for somebody to help me to care for the children, in particular the twins, who enjoys teaching children through the every day world. We use every opportunity in every day life to educate, rather than being stuck in stuffy class rooms. Example, when we go shopping, we get the children to work out cost of things and how much change they will be given. We involve the children in cooking and baking and running the household.
Our animals are a big part of our lives and you'll be required to assist the children to care for them on a daily basis.
We believe in assisting our children to do things rather than doing for them.
We require somebody who is willing to get their hands dirty, muck in with whatever needs doing, somebody who is happy go lucky, happy to sing and dance and have a laugh. We are not a strict family.
As long as everybody is clean, fed and healthy, thats our main goal in life!
