Introduction of the family offering the au pair / nanny job:

SAFETY WARNING: if you see any contact details below, DO NOT CONTACT THIS FAMILY but report it to us! It might be a scammer who will ask you for money.

We are looking for a live in au pair to stay with us and help us with out of school hours childcare support (although we do the vast majority of that and intend to continue doing so) - and light touch cleaning duties - which we will also perform, so it would be on a shared basis.

We offer accommodation, food and a monthly pay to be mutually agreed.

Occasional evening and weekend babysitting, which is basically be around whilst our child sleeps.

They need to have a basic level of English or Italian language so we can communicate.

In terms or hours and pay, this can be discussed and agreed with the person who's interested, we are flexible, it can be very little (1 or 2 hours a day) or more, depending on the persons goals and objectives.

We mean for this to be an opportunity for someone to establish themselves in the UK, we don't expect anyone to have the dream of becoming our housekeeper.

But we can be a stepping stone for someone to find other work if they wish.

Should they

We are in our 40s and enjoy peace and quiet at home, particularly in the evening when the kid is asleep. Our child is 5 and goes to school Monday to Friday.

Mum is Italian and works as a beauty and massage therapist.
Dad is British works in the Insurance industry.
We speak English at home but would give preference to any Italian speaking aupair as we'd like to speak Italian in the house more often.

We are chilled and easy going, and would like an au pair who will enjoy becoming part of our family.
