Nanny with fluent French (Spanish a bonus!) needed for twin 9 year old boys. English lessons paid for!
We are a family that is deeply committed to multilingualism. The boys understand both French and Spanish well and speak it at a basic level (though naturally they are most fluent in English!). The boys are happy, fun boys who love interaction and being active. One of the boys, Tristan loves football -so being willing to play football with him every day is a must! The other boy Tim, loves bouncing around on our trampoline and joking around.
The job would basically be to bring the boys to school and collect them from school 3 days a week. We would pay for you to go to English lessons for 2 days a week whilst the boys are at school, so the job is perfect for someone who loves children but wants to study English in London!
Generally the job involves:
- Getting the boys ready for school (packing their bags, making their lunch, helping them to dress etc) and bringing them to school on the train;
- You would be free to study English then until it is time to pick up the boys from school (usually 340pm ,but can be a little later);
- Bring the boys home from school, help them shower, supervise their homework and playing their instruments, play with them and put them to bed.
,- There is also some light housework to do.
Advantages of this role are:
- We will pay for you to have English lessons while the boys are at school;
- We will give you a travelcard, which will give you umlimited bus travel in zones 5-6 in London (which is a very useful thing!);
- Very nice room on offer in a house in an extremely safe and leafy part of London/Kent;
- And best of all, 2 gorgeous boys who are full of fun.
The following are essential for the role:
- Love children and be happy to talk to them in French only;
- Good experience looking after children (outside of own family);
- Have lived away from home before;
- Being sporty to play with our sporty son!;;
- Very reliable and very good at being contactable over the phone;
- Being very organised and tidy (my husband and I have pretty busy jobs so an organised, independent person is really important!).
