Au pair for a playful 1yr old girl. Only required to work monday-thursday so the weekends are your own.
We live in a town called Romsey which is inbetween the cities of Winchester and Southampton, with easy bus and train links to both (only about 20mins away). From Winchester you can get to London on the train in an hour. From Romsey station you can also get direct trains to Salisbury and Bath. We are perfectly placed for anyone wanting to explore the South of England with ease.
My husband works long hours during the week and I am a Midwife, splitting my time between night shifts at the Hospital and lecturing at Southampton University.
Our Daughter loves being outdoors and exploring new things and places, she absolutely adores animals but we dont have any pets.
We would only require support Monday-Thursday (there may be the odd Friday) and so would fully encourage you to go off exploring and be independant at the weekends. Monday mornings (8am - 1pm), Wednesdays and Thursdays (8am-6pm) you would be the sole person in charge of our daughter whilst I am at the university or sleeping after a night shift. However the rest of the week I do not work and so we would have joint responsibility Monday afternoons and Tuesdays.
We would love an energetic au pair to play with our daughter and carry out all aspects of care a 1 year old requires. This includes; playing, feeding (bottles and meals), nappy changing, bathing, bed time and lots of outdoor time, weather permitting.
It would be preferable for you to be able to cook but not essential, we would require you to do light housework such as the washing, hovering and dusting (we wouldn't ask you to clean the bathrooms or do the ironing).
At present she has some medical needs which mean she cant be around large groups of other children. She is otherwise completely well but has a very weak immune system and so if she picks up a virus or bug she can become very unwell.
**please not we are a strictly non-smoking family**
