Live in Nanny/au-pair needed to help a loving family with 3 children, to help look after them, the home and our dog!
Our family consists of me, Louisa (mum) and Simon (Dad) and our 3 kids: Sophie, Amelie and Harry, Tonks the dog and Jessie the cat! Sophie is 11, Amelie 9 and harry is 4. All of the kids are at full-time school.
Simon and I both work and I still studying part time to complete my legal practice qualification therefore life is pretty hectic, and that is where you come in....to help us!
and between my job, studies, the house the kids and the dog I find I just don't have the time to do it all!
We are a fun, loving family who support each other amazingly well and having an au-pair to help us makes life a lot easier for everyone. We live in a 6 bedroom house in a village 10 minutes walk to the nearest town. The children go to school, 15 minutes drive from our house. We live in a beautiful part of North Yorkshire with plenty to do for children and adults a like. Within a 10 minute drive there is a gym, swimming pool, cinema and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants.
I work in Leeds, which is about 45 minutes away from home and Simon works in the office 4 days (with 1 day a week working at home). The children will often be in your sole charge and you will be doing the school runs. We will also be asking you to take the dog for long walks in the day; so liking dogs and feeling comfortable with one is a must!
Your job will include, childcare, helping kids with homework (not that difficult don't worry!) cooking for the kids, very light housework and washing, driving children to and from school and clubs, walking the dog and occasional evening babysitting.
If you come to live with us you would have your own 'area' with double room with a double bed, a little sitting room with television and your own shower room, with an entrance to come and go as you like.
You will have use of a car during the week and at weekends for you to get around easily. The nearest town is only a 2 minute drive and a much larger town/city is only 10 minutes drive.
