Nanny/Aupair/ Mother's help needed for family 2 children and dogs. Very diverse and busy role. Cooking and driving and VISA to work in UK are a must
We are looking for someone to care for our son (10 years old) and our daughter (3months) to start early March. We have 5 dogs (3 large, 2 small) as well as chickens and guinea fowl so an animal lover is a must.
The position would preferably be live in but would consider live out and is full time Mon-Fri, 8 hours a day split flexibly through out the day, usually between 6:30am-7pm. The schedule of the day changes during school holidays and is fairly varied throughout the week.
We require someone who can look after the children in a sole charge capacity, including cleaning children's bedrooms and bathrooms and laundry for the children (the housekeeper sees to the rest of the house), nappy changing and help at bath times, school runs, help with homework etc, as well as cooking for the children and sometimes for other family members.
The right candidate would also be expected to act as a mother's help by running errands and grocery shopping, occasional dog walking or trips to the vet, as well as helping with the running of a couple of Air B&B properties. Currently this involves notifying the cleaner of guest bookings and ensuring adequate groceries in the property but it is likely this role will expand in the near future.
The house is part of an estate and we hold corporate fishing days in the summer and pheasant shoots in the winter. Ideally the right candidate for this job would be able to help with the running of these events by overseeing other staff and helping with the cooking and hospitality.
There would also be the opportunity to travel with the family on holidays.
It is a very varied role and requires a hard worker who is willing and able to turn their hand to anything that might come up. It is a diverse role but a manageable pace in a friendly, welcoming household. It is vital that you know how to cook and are confident making healthy meals to the mother's specifications. It is also essential that you hold a full, clean driving license, however a car can be provided if needed. We are a no smoking household and would expect you to comply with that if you live in. First aid qualification, DBS and references
Salary negotiable depending on situation and experience.
