Introduction of the family offering the au pair / nanny job:

SAFETY WARNING: if you see any contact details below, DO NOT CONTACT THIS FAMILY but report it to us! It might be a scammer who will ask you for money.

We are a Multicultural and multilingual family of three. We are both in our mid-30 my husband is French, I am Asian and we have a 15 month mix-raced baby boy. Our son is healthy, very curious and full of energy as you might expect.

My husband works for a Bank in the West end leaving at around 7:30 and returning home by 18:00. For my part I work from 8:30 to 17:00 as Product Manager for an IT company. The firm is actually located 5mns walk from home. This enables me to return home for lunch at 13:00 to allow the Au Pair a well-deserved one hour break. I will then go back to the office at 14:00 and come back home at 17:00 at which point the day of the Au Pair ends and I take over.

When I come home I will take care of the baby and start cooking. When my husband arrives home at 18:00 he will usually take the baby to bath, feed him and put him to bed at 19:30 – baby will usually sleeps 12 hours until the morning. We usually have dinner shortly after 19:30. After dinner we will do all the cleaning and go to bed at around 22:00.

We live in the Royal Borrow of Greenwich just by the river Thames within a Grade II listed area. The borough is very well connected with 24h buses, the ever reliable DLR, with London City Airport only 10mns ride away, the Thames Clippers Boat, the mainline train service to London Charring Cross and the upcoming Cross Rail that will connect the area to Bond Street in only 20mns and to London Heathrow in just 40mns.

The area has all the necessary amenities such as shopping, banks and vibrant English Pub. Being a Grade II listed borough it benefits from a 24h on site team of concierges that provide security to the whole estates. It really is a quiet and safe place to raise children. One can walk along the river or even go for a walk in the little forest nearby.

Ideally, we would like someone with past experience of being an Au Pair looking after young children from 1 year old. But most importantly we would like someone who is really reliable and trustworthy. We will provide all the support that the Au Pair may need. We believe it is our responsibility to look after our son and our home. The Au Pair is here to help us achieve this goal.

During my 12 months maternity leave I have established a regular routine for my son whereby sleeping time, entertainment time, meal time and bath time all follow a pre-established schedule. I am confident this routine will make it easier for an au pair to follow.

The ideal person will be very well organised, patient with can do attitude. We expect the au pair to be able to schedule indoors and outdoors activities during the day. To be creative and ensure our son receive some form of daily educative routine.

The Au Pair will her own large and already furnished private room with wardrobe and a desk. The property comes with Fibre Optic Broadband for easy connection to the internet. The Au Pair will also benefit from her own private shower room for her individual use.

In addition, the au pair will have the opportunity to live in arguably one of the world's most vibrant and iconic city. At home she will be able to converse daily in English. My husband speaks French to my son and I speak in Mandarin to him. The Au Pair will also benefit from understanding different cultures with my husband being French with roots in Africa and myself being Asian from Taiwan.

We usually go to France few times a year and take weekend away in the country side in the UK. We would love to take the Au Pair with us during these times away if she is willing to.
