German Au pair wanted for fun relaxed international family with two children living on a beautiful lake in South America
We are a family with an Australian mother and a German father, our two children boy and girl, were both born in Uruguay. The mother teaches english and the father works for a german company and travels frequently all over Latin America.
During the months from March to December, which is a quieter time in Uruguay, our two children attend a local country school from 10am to 3pm. We wake up about 7am and have time to breakfast and play or do some crafts or perhaps go for a walk with our dog or play some tennis ! In the afternoon after school finishes, we might be at home for a couple of hours before an afternoon activity on the town of Punta del este and then back home for dinner and bed for the kids around 8pm. The weekends are generally include social engagements with other families, sports, sailing our boat, tennis and perhaps going to a restaurant.
From mid December till March the children have school holidays (nesrkyb3 months), and we spend the mornings at the beach which is very close to us and the afternoons at the pool, or doing summer related activities! This is a fun time to be in Punta del Este
We would like you to be able to fit in with our family, enjoying the activities we enjoy. You would be quite dependent on us since public transport is not great, but we would consider you part of our family and look to include you in everything we do (if you wish). There will be plenty of free time during the day and evenings, and we have a cleaner so are not expecting you to do our house work, except for help with food preparation and tidying away toys etc. Rather we would like you to be spending time playing and interacting with the children! Kicking a football with them or doing some crafts would be great!
Our wish is for our children to have some more time surrounded by the german language which they miss out on a little since their father travels so frequently.
We are open to beginning date for an au pair and length of stay. Whatever suits the au pair is fine.
